About the Author

Jason Lowe-Power is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Davis in the Computer Science Department. Jason obtained his PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Computer Sciences department in summer 2017. His research focuses on making the trend of increased hardware heterogeneity more usable to application developers. He has been a contributor to gem5 for the last 6 years, and is one of the primary developers of gem5-gpu which combines the GPU model of GPGPU-Sim with gem5 and was one of the first heterogeneous simulators.
